Easy Pecan Pie

• 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
• 1 cup light corn syrup
• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• 3 large eggs
• 1/3 cup butter, melted
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 1/2 cups pecan halves

1. 1Heat the oven to 350°F and set the crust on a baking sheet.
2. 2Whisk the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla and salt until smooth.
3. 3Spread the pecans in the crust and pour the filling over them.
4. 4Bake 55–65 minutes, until the center is mostly set and only slightly jiggly. Cover the edges with foil after 30 minutes if they brown too fast.
5. 5Cool completely, at least 3 hours, so it slices cleanly.
